five hundred 4h club mem bers from all sections of south ern ontario participated in the 28th annual provincial interclub competitions held at the ontario agricultural college guelph on friday oct 17th these young people all between the ages of 16 and 20 years inclusive were representative of the 22941 club members who as members of 1970 clubs participated in ontarios 4h programme during 1958 the event concluded with a dinner where the 4h members their coaches judges etc were guests of the ontario department of agriculture here the hon w a goodfellow stated j con sider our 4h programme in which local leaders local spon sor in organizations and industry all work together with the rame- bers of our extension branch- as the most important programme we have in the ontario department of together no less than 55 club teams and here mary lawrence and jack robertson representing haltons 4h holstein calf club placed eighth in beef catqetlss 4h cub teams participated and here haltons team
