their regular dinner meeting at the jack olan- tern on monday evening the large number of members and guests pre sentwere delighted with the talk given them by the guest speaker r coneybeare playwrite actor and script writer or radio and tv mr coneybeare told how a play is written and then took them thru the numerous and varied channels of having the play read and sold or rejected his talk was based on fact but given in a light and hum orous vein nevertheless leaving his listeners aware of the factq that playwriting is a difficult competitive field but most reward nig a question period followed and mr coneybeare was able to satisfy the curiosity of many of the members about that mysteri ous field of tv and radio marion robinson introduced the speaker and janet modougall expressed
