the cancellation of the cf 105 may have its efrect on the plans for georgetown s fifth public school at a regular meeting of the public school board at the harri son school on wednesday march 4th members expressed concern over the situation which could jnean a decrease in the number of rooms proposed if the depart ment sees fit the replanning would delay the opening possibly until january 1960 the department would probably favour a five room structure how ever the board agreed they would rather support the original plan and have some of the rooms vac ant for a term than chance being caught short of teaching space in the event that the malton crisis was remedied though slackening off sharply the influx of new residents in the delrex area has not halted en tirely one of the facts the board must be able to support before the department to prove ten rooms necessary tenders for the construction of a ten room school have already been calledfor march 25th thirty three ipercent of the enrollment at harrison arc from avro homes and if a job bunting migration vacates classrooms here the board will probably move the classes out of wngglesworth audi lorium which was never intended as teaching space harrison principal harold hen ry lold the board fifteen new rcg islrations were received in febru ary from the new area behind the sykes plant making a total of 90 now attending the
