local witnesses attend convention in ottawa mr george jiaandfortu- presiding minister of jehovahs witnesses announced last week that the georgetown congregation of jeho vahs witnesses has been invited to attend a four day convention to he held july 23 to 26 at laiwdowne ipark ottawa mr brandford will head the local delegation of about 70 persons the convention is arranged by the watchtower bible and tract society located in toronto onta rio for jehovah s witnesses an attendance in excess of 12000 is anticipated the purpose of the meeting said mr brandford is to provide additional bible with brampton the old standby the sport and fromwhom georgetown has received a great deal of sup port in getting a lacrosse program underway both in information and equipment the novice team suffered
