graham gilhooly hospital administrator while facilities and staff are now ready for full opera lion of the hospital it is necessary to take sanitary tests of every department in the building mr gilhoofy explains and this will be completed before june 27th at first a total of 39 beds will be available 14 obststri cal and 25 medical and surgical beds later as more trained staff becomes available an additional 17 medical and surgical beds and eight pediatric will swell the final capacity to 64 beds set rates a standard ward rate of 20 30 daily has been estab lished by the hospital board with approval of the ontario hospital commission top rate in the building will be 26 30 for private room semi private rooms will be 23 30 daily however regardless of these additional charges if it is certified that a patient must have private or semi private accommodation for medical reasons the standard rate only will bo charged hospital hours spmi open visiting hours have also been set a patient may have visitors from 2pm to 8 p m in all zones other than the children s ward here visiting hours end at 7 00 p m visitors will be limited to two per patient at any one time and in common with hospital procedures children under 13 will not be allowed at any time in the obstebical section visitors are limited to the new mothers husbandrand motners tips for patients admittance hours for patients other than emergencies will be from 2 to 3 p m for surgical and medical and from 7 to 8 p m for medical patients only discharge hours for patients will be from 10 am to 1 p m patients are
