gibbens were also active members of the lawn bowling club the town of milton lost a well known and highly respec ted citlxen on thursday june 15th when major frederick william bruce fitzgerald died born and educated in mill brook mr fitzgerald went ov erseas with the 75th battalion in the first world war and on returning from the conflict joined the staff of the bank of toronto he worked in numcr ous branches before coming to milton lo found the f w b fitzgerald insurance agency which he managed until his sudden death except for a few years during the second world war when he was overseas as adjutant to th canadian dental corps he was awarded the hue vary active mr fitzgerald was always very active m all phases of community life before coming to milton he was past master of lansdowne masonic lodge here he was secretary of the halton county conservative association for over twenty years and took an active part in all phases of the work ho was one of the first members of since its inception and he worked closely with the local police as justice of the peace for several years he is survived by his wife orpba mcclenahan and daugh tcr mrs w j duignan elix ibcth anne of
