yet been made by present council members but there are m number of rumours rampant you hear stones of this one and that one seeking this and that seat on council but you can t seem to pin any one story down until the race for the higher offices have beeq decided it is a healthy posit ton for a town when you have a number of people offering them selves for public office now that the town has achieved the population figure of ovfer the ten thousand mark you can expect that more interest wilvte shown in local politics as time goes on however no matter what happens we can expect a lively nomination meeting next month when the members of the pres ent council attempt to justify tvieir actions during the past year and those seeking a seat on next years council state their reas ons for getting into the political whirl trade exhibition should be revived after reading tn account of the milton trade fair we were impressed by a para graph in the article the trade fair proved its points you can buy articles in milton art comparable price that people have been driving to the city to buy this same slogan can be applied o georgetown and a resumption of the trade xhibit we had a few years ago would bring this point closer home the exh bit at that tome was well worthwhile and spon sored jointly by the chamber of commerce and the local industries business women s week a trade fa r
