the theatre group and the branch the padre will select a commit tee to assist him we feel this is a most commendable project for the branch to undertake for it is good that the youth of town have something to interest them and for them to work for during the summer months another green light has been received this time it is thanks mr george muckart and tb cemetery board which mr mu ckart heads the branch and the odd fellows have cooperated tojwild a cairn at the entrance to the cemetery and having re ceived the nod from the board have commenced the cairn we understand it is almost com has stated that so far thl year he has 33 new members 4 of these are members rottistft- ted however it seems that there are 107 members who are not paid up for 1067 and there fore cannot be counted on the branch membership this must be most frustrating for buster who is striving so hard to bring the membership up to 500 for 1967 we fnd it hard to un derstand why these people have not paid their dues by now ffien we are halfway through the year the voice of the legion li listened to by our governments but how can- the organization speak lor the veteran when in one branch alone they have in the true sense of the word lost 107 members remember your membership carries from jan uary 1st to january 1st at the branch membership is held ip- ct until march 31st after that date the branch is undble to claim you as a member to pro vincial or dominion command how about it comrades it is not too much to ask of you sunday eated 1 sleep on bus get most mileage for ottawa trip to the capitol
