is hard to come by last year with over 2 000 branches across the nation the percentage of certificates jrwar ded was small indeed at the final general meeting of yours truly s term of office as preal dent it was our honour and pri vilege to present such an award to one of branch 120 a most ten lous and ardent members hl record speaks for itself it goes something like this third term he has just commenced his third term as president of 120 the other two occasions were in 10481b50 and 1963 for over three years he has been kept busy and active as service of fleer which any vet who has had dealings with him will know he is most competent in this office all parades held by the branch for a number of years have been organized and super vised by him in mb position as parade marshal he board since the beginning of april be ww working hard to assure that the national veu erans wee would be a tremen dous success needless to say it was just that we are apeak lug of course of david bow man m m the new president of branch 120 dave also recel ved a life membership along with uio certificate of merit 1nstal new exec another important happening at the general meeting was the installation of the new ex ecuuve by district commander david capperaufld we feel pre sident bowman has a good and hard working executive to along with him for the next 12 months at that meeting a mo tion was made and carried that for another winter the branch will sponsor saturday morning hookey thus giving the green light for those stout hearted gentlemen to open the arena every saturday morning and see to it that any boy who so desires may have ice tune coaching guidance and companionship while playing hockey friday night the new and the old executive combined their ef jfortjttrwine and dine the lad ies of our auxiliary this in an annual affair and as in other years was most successful and the ladies let it be known that they bad a good time most discouraging in spite of the appeal 1 members of the branch to turn out for a centennial parade held at glen williams it to no avail approximately 12 members of the branch and 8 members of the ladies uxil lary were on parade fla otl the
