in points that it was impossible for any other team to catch up with them branch 120 became district b champs and along with mount hamilton and brampton will represent district b in the pro vincial cadeh g ready with the coming of fall jrje ortown legion air cadets are having their uniforms pressed id readiness for monday jept 8 when they will go on parade it is expected there will be a 10 changein the squadronthis seems to be general every year when the jcadets form up in bights after the summer re cess there are still many lads names on the waiting list with the present strength of 738 squadron being 74 n is expected that there will j3 20 cadets take the first years trai ning 40 the second year while the remaining 14 will hae 3rd year training although the in structors can handle up lo five years which includes aero eng ines electronics photography high speed ftlgljt etc at this time the cadets of 756 squadron being a newly formed squadron do not qualify thce is room for six proroot ions when things get rolling ag am in september flying models during the summer recess 10 to 15 of the cadets have been keeping their hands in by ai tending the hobby club every wednesday and saturday hare the lads have built model air- plarfes which are power driven and have been flying them un der the watchful eye of lt carl groskorth and other interested adults this can be ajsupensive hobby for after building the plane which might take several weeks there is always the pos sibility of crashing on its maid en flight then ts back to the drawing board and a rebuilding job
