    Rachael Cunnington was born in Rutland, England in 1770. In 1799 she married John Willmott. They had eight children and in 1816 the family emigrated to Canada and settled on a bush farm near Milton.

    In 1840 Henry Willmott married Mary Ross. They had six children. In 1848 he moved to Milton. In 1852 he contracted for carpentry work on the new brick Methodist Church (now St. Paul's United) opposit

    Alice Beatrice Awde was born in 1870, the daughter of John Ross Willmott and Emily Hatton. On July 22, 1895 at the Wesley Church, Toronto, she married A. E. Awde, M.D., the son of Robert Awde.
