Buell of Marash, Turkey; Miss Anna B. Jones of Constanti- nople, Turkey. TRACK OUTLOOK IS NOT BRIGHT AT N. U. It is feared that Northwestern will not make as brilliant a showing in track this year as it did last season.' The cinder-path squad has been weakened by graduation df Fletcher and Linn. Blair, the crack middle- j distance man, has been forced to enter Minnesota this year, and it is not believed Shaw, will be back. Thus the strong team of last season leaves only Shenk, Thorsen and a few oth- ers as a nucleus around which Coach Omer must build his new team. Ill luck deprives the team of the support of Osborn, the speedy little middle- distance man of the former fresh- man squad, the stocky little runner having been injured by a fall during the Summer. Such sophomores as James, the high jumper, and Warrick and Warren will prove valuable. Track work will start Monday when the coach will begin to work the cross-country men. Trailer, Fer- ris and Stafford Will join the already large long distance squad. to be organised ^-m^^m' south '^^^m'^:§^^ however, to gain* * defflp^ the" proposition always^Wfft^1^ fofta " ^ i *â- >*>* .•-*" ^ It is understood the bank will bt located either on Main street or on Chicago avenue close to Main street.
