The accident to Sherman Barnett's eye is not as serious as was first feared. The X-ray examination showed no foreign matter in the eye. Scarlet fever Is not spreading. James Abbott of Glencoe an- nounces the marriage of his daughter, Bonnie Edwina, to Mr. William Law- rence Pattison of Chicago which took place Wednesday. March 26. Chicago, Sunday. The ladles of St. Mary'B society will give a public card party at St. Joseph's school hall Sunday, April 6, at 8 p. m. Tickets, 25 cents a person. All are invited. Mr. H. D. Mulr is a very busy man at present with the building of his hew home in Mont Clare. We all will be sorry to see him leave, which will be in the near future. Mr. N. J. They expected to occupy the new school building next week, but owing.to a delay In the furnishings they will not be able to do so. Miss Cook has moved to Glencoe, wherb she has taken a five years' lease of the Ligare property and will open a private hotel. The Inn, In Kenil- worth, is now undergoing extensive repairs and will be reopened the mid- dle of May under the direction of Mrs. Witherbee. The Kenilworth Lightweights has* ketball team defeated the St. Mary's ) team of Evanston. 33 to 32, at the Kenilworth gymnaalu Saturday night. The score was tied at the end ot the regular period, making five minutes of extra play necessary. St. Mary's led, 20 to 12. at the end of the first half.
