Gould, 1130 Lake avenue, will be solemn- ______ized on Monday evening, April-5, at 8:30 o'clock, at the home of the bride's mother, 5103 Kenmore avenue, Chicago. Mrs. Mason will attend her daughter as matron of honor, and Ernest Gould, twin brother of the bridegroom, will serve as best man. Following a wedding trip-the young couple will be at home at 6508 Ashland avenue, Chicago. ------------»----------- Of interest to many New Trier students is the announcement of the approaching marriage of Miss Hazel C. Wickum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Wickum of Yakima, Wash., to Elmer E. Nilles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Nilles of Evanston. The wedding will take place tomorrow afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at the Evanston hotel. Mr. Nilles attended New Trier High school, and lias many friends on the north shore. The young couple will take an extended honeymoon trip through the west and northwestern â- Canada. On Thursday evening, April 8, there will be a dinner at the Methodist Episcopal church under the auspices of the Official Board. The address of the evening will be given by Dr. W. R. Wedder- spoon of St. James Methodist Episcopal church, Chicago, who will -deliver his famous lecture on, "Beside the Bonnie Briar Bush." Truly one of the most delightful musical programs given before the members of the Wilmette Woman's club was that of Wednesday after- noon. Wilmette is indeed proud of its many artists, and not least among them are the Misses Ethel Flentye, •daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. jplentye, 729 Lake avenue, and Pauline Pettibone, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Marcus Adrogna. formerly a lieuten- ant in the Italian army, who later enlisted with the American, and who fought side by side with Cicchini, will serve as best man. Father Lan- non will read the service a 9 o clock. â€"♦â€" As this is Vacation week for the children and high school students, many of them are taking advantage of the opportunity to visit the Bird House Exhibit which is nowr being held on the Ninith Floor of Marshal Field and Co. The houses are many and varied and their construction easy enough for any manual training student. After exhibit the houses are to be presented to the Forest Preserves whe.re they will be hung in that part of the school nearest the school from which they were sent. The whole idea is for the pro- tection of our wild birds and the conservation of our trees. Mrs. Jordon is leav- ing today for an extended visit with relatives in Boston Mass. â€"*â€" The A-O-Ky-YA chapter of the Camp Fire Girls, under the guardian- ship of Mrs. Alfred Herrmann, took their first lpng hike of the season on Wednesday. The group left Wilmette early in the afternoon, and hiked west and north of Glencoe, where they set up camp and cooked their own supper. A new member has been taken in, Miss Ruth Cald- well, who was made bead recorder. â€"+_ The Kmetanaxi chapter of Camp Fire Girls and their guardian, Miss Helen Shurtleff, gave a progressive party last Friday and Saturday. On Friday evening the members were entertained at a progressive supper, they spent the night at the home of Tane Triggs, on Saturday morning, they took a long hike, and in the afternoon attended the eight annual birthday party of the Camp Fire Girls in the Ashland Block audi- torium. â€"*â€" , The joint meeting of the Woman s Home Missionary society and the Woman's Foreign Missionary so- siety of the Methodist church has been postponed until April 13. Albert Fagg, who has been spending the winter in Pasadena, Cal. has been entertained at a number of informal parties during her stay rtcre.
