Erection of the new building be- gan last August. It is as nearly as possible an exact reproduction of the former structure, as this was the de- sire of the members. The style of architecture is old English. At the front entrance of the club is a small porch, all the materialof which is from the old frigate "Con- stitution," made famous during the war of 1812. In the main dining room on the first floor the exposed trusses are of huge oak timbers and in the outside of the building are ex- posed oak timbers. On the first floor of the left wing of the clubhouse are the men's locker rooms, showei^Hiathimrad dressing rooms. There are 4(M) lock- ers and some fifty private shower rooms. The dining room and kitchen are on the first floor of the north wing. There is also a large loung- ing room and u tuiV to be used on special occasions or at times when the main dining room is not needed. I The upper floor Is divided off into apartments and suites. There are eleven apartments for familiei : and seventeen single suites. From any of the rooms a splendid view of the beautiful course is obtained.
