Mrs. Pick was formerly Miss Corinne Frada, pro- fessional pianist, who es- tablished an enviable reputa- tion as one of the leading artists of the Pacific coast. Mr. Kaumeyer. is well known to north shore aud- iences. He has appeared frequently at various social gatherings and musical en- tertainments, and is favor- ably known as a director of light opera. He has done much of this work in Chau- tauqua. Mr. Dressier, is a soloist at the First Methodist Mrs. Albert Pick, Jr. church of Evanston, and has appeared as soloist with the famous Apollo club of Chicago. ._______ ______ DRIVER INJURED WHEN CAR HITS AUTOMOBILE Fred Lvacek of Gross Point suf- fered severe cuts and bruises early Monday morning when an automobile he^was^drmtiff-was -gtmck-by-a-ChU cago, North Shore and Milwaukee electric car at Linden avenue and Third street. The machine was badly wrecked. Several similar accidents have oc- curred at the Linden avenue crossing this year, according to the police, and \t is thought steps will be taken to obtain better protection for ve- hicles and pedestrians at this point. An electric signal bell installed at the crossing is usually out of order, it is said. Mrs. John B. Bellamy was hostess at a tea given at her home Tuesday last in honor of Mrs. Scott, guest of Mrs. William F. Freudenreich.
