A program appropriate to. the occasion has been ar- ranged. The Light Bearers will hold a regular meeing in the Sunday School Annex Monday afternon, February 19th, at 3 :00 o'clock. The interest in Mrs. A. L. Berry's talks on the Great Themes of the Bible is evidenced by the attendance and confirms our prediction. Wednesday at 3:00 o'clock. Club house with Village President Zipf as a guest. Reports .of the year's ac- tivities were received. Further steps were taken to help the real estate men keep their offices closed on Sunday and village affairs in general were discussed. The boys and girls present at the three showings of the Children's Movies yesterday saw "The Land of Opportun- ity," an Abraham Lincoln story, and a two-reel Children's picture. "Little Jimmy's Prayer." These films were pro- vided by Mr. and Mrs. George J. Phil- lips, 1H9 Forest avenue.They are the second week's showings given by Mr. and Mrs. Phillips this season. * Next week's showings in the Children's Movies will1 be "After the Fall," a biblical film of the early ages and "The Lord will Pro- vide" a biblical story. During Lent biblical and religious pictures will be shown each Thursday. For Thursday and Friday of Holy Week the beautiful, picture, "From the Manager to the Cross," will be shown. This was in order that the children might have the privilege of hearing Dp: Francis E. Clark, the founder of'Christian En- deavor and known throughout the world as the father of Christian Endeavor. The children will meet at the Wilmette church Saturday afternon at 1 o'clock and go down in a group to Moody church Our regular Boy Scouts were given recognition at the church service last Sunday, it being the 13th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. Next Sunday morning will be the occasion of the annual Thank Offering of the Woman's Foreign Missionary so- ciety. The address will be delivered by Dr. Gene Zimmerman. The Fourth Division of the Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Springer, 707 Central avenue, Friday all day, February 23. Luncheon will be served.
