He will give his entire time to supervising its activities, and will have an office in the new club house. Building Nearing Completion The new club house of the Evanston Community Recreation association, located in Evanston on Lincoln street between Ridge avenue and the drain- age canal is now nearing completion, the plumbing contract having been awarded. The lockers will be install- ed in due season and in fact rentals are now being provided. Chairman McGoodwin of the house committee announces that the annual rental of the locker to any one person will be $10 ^ year or $12, where two persons use the locker. Another innovation this year will be a change in rules regarding the daily greens fee. The property, representing a consid- eration of $150,000, constitutes some of the most fertile acreage in Cook county, suitable for truck gardening, dairying, corn, and poultry raising. The land, with the exception of a few acres of timber, is cleared and under cultivation. The farm has a large attractive master's residence with a substantial home for the farm manager and help. Barns, hen houses, a milk house, and other buildings and the latest farm equipment including tractors complete the property. In purchasing the farm, Mr. Carlson stated that it is his purpose to further improve it that it may supply the kitchens of the Library Plaza and The Orrington, the latter of which is scheduled for completion September 1. Coroner Asks Aid In Reducing Accidents Coroner Wolff will appeal to the generosity and public spirit of Chi- cago Association of Commerce mem- bers for aid in combating the ever in^ creasing number of violent deaths in Chicago, he has announced.
