This new commercial structure now houses two real estate offices, a high class meat market, an enterprising drygoods store, a plumbing shop of- fice and a grocery. Besides, these, two new stores are to open for busi- ness within the next two or three weeks. An up-to-date fruit market is to occupy the vacant store room on Linden avenue. The corner site will be occupied as a combined confectionery, light lun- cheon and florist establishment. John Pappas, proprietor of eight similar stores in Chicago, is the owner. Fix- tures valued at $25,000 will be install- ed. Here will be set up a complete ice manufacturing plant, with window refrigerator coil. Ice cream, , sodas, light lunchs, cigars and cigarettes will be the commodities purveyed in the Pappas emporium. Opening day will be announced soon and it is a day to be anticipated. Mr. Pappas prom- ises a generous and gratis distribu- tion of floral favors.
