The performances of "The Frog Prince," air operetta to be given by chil- dren on Monday and Tuesday, June 4 and 5, at the Wilmette Woman's club, should please every child in the vil- lage. In it will be seen the enchanted prince with the frog's head, the beautiful prin- cess, a stately king and pages and maids- in-waiting in charmingly colored cos- tumes, and a bevy of wonderful little dancers. The well, which is the abode of the Frog Prince, is the work of Lois Phelps and Virginia Warden, two of the children in the cast. "Between the Soup and the Savoury," an extremely amusing one-act comedy, witt~lJe splendidly presented by Mes- dames Charles Henderson, Margaret Seibert and {Catherine Shaw. There will also be a comic sketch by that fine comedian.^JZJhesteiL-Iyawrence, supported by a chorus of men. Altogether, a most enjoyable evening's .entertainment is promised and it is hoped that ^the" performances will bring in a substantial sum of the Associated Guilds of St. Augustine's church, under whose auspices the entertainments are given. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Beazley are directing the operetta. The new corps of waitresses went on duty early this week. A gift counter will also be maintained by members of the sorority-4n- the- pic* turesque dining room of the Iron Lan- tern. Candy and a variety of knick- knacks will be offered for sale there.
