Feron, gen- eral superintendent of transportation, said this week. The new parlor- observation cars are a unique fea- ture in epuipment of electric rail- ways. Every de the comfort and convenience of the traveler has been arranged with studied care so that travel on the North Shore line between Chicago and Mil- waukee will be a veritable pleasure jaunt. Musical railroad- ing is held to be an entirely new thing for the trav- eling public. A generous variety of harmony is as- sured, with a smattering of the works of the old masters supple- mented with an ample supply of latest popular song and dance selec- tions. vs. Jivciy uc- , Buffet service, it is Tjrelieved, will be a welcome adjunct to the present dining service provided on certain of the Chicago-Milwaukee runs. Chairs in the new observation cars are beautifully upholstered and the interior of the coaches reflect an atmosphere of cosiness. The cars are modern in every detail and of the very latest type of construction. PARLOR-OBSERVATION CARS GIVEN APPROVAL A group of prominent Chicago antfTiorth shore Municipal officials ac- companied officials of the Chicago, North Shore and Milwaukee railway on the initial trip, from Chicago to Milwaukee, last Wednesday of the new parlor-observation cars added to the equipment of two of the crack Limit- ed runs. The journey started at 10:30 o'clock at the Chicago terminal and the dis^ tinguishad passengers were greeted by an enthusiastic reception at the instance of a delegation of Milwaukee officials and business men at the term- inal in the Wisconsin metropolis.
