Schneider, John Gangolf (Died)

John Gangolf Schneider, 77, until recently of 2536 Glenview Road, Wilmette, member of a pioneer family, died November 10 at the Catherine Booth Memorial Hospital and Clinic, Chicago. Mr. Schneider, a truck gardener, was born in Wilmette on January 3, 1978, and lived there all his life. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church and of the Catholic Order of Foresters, SS. Peter and Paul Court. Husband of the late Susan Borre Schneider, who died in 1950, he is survived by seven children, Mrs. Katherine A. Dumong and Harold E., both of Wilmette, Raymond J. of Chicago, Nicholas J. of Chicago Heights, Edward F. of Glenview, Ralph W. of Northbrook, and Francis J. of Forest Lake in Lake Zurich, Illinois; and by a brother, Edward of Glenview. Funeral services were held at 9:45 a.m. Monday at Alten's chapel, followed at 10 a.m. by mass at St. Joseph's Church. Interment was at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
