Charles L. Hosken, 627 Washington avenue, Wilmette, passed away early Tuesday morning of this week at his home after a brief illness. He was 69 years of age. Active in Masonic work, he was a past worshipful master of the Wilmette lodge, past worthy patron of the local chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and had been a member of the Medinah club. Mr. Hosken, a resident of Wilmette since 1900, was associated with Marshall Field and company, Chicago. He was treasurer of the village from 1907 to 1912 and in earlier days was the presiding officer of the Royal Arcanum council in the community. Services Thursday He is survived by his widow, Harriet; by two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Parker of Pontiac, Mich., and Mrs. Harriette Crummer of Wilmette; by a son, W. P. of Wilmette; and by two sisters and a brother. Masonic funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Scott chapel in Wilmette with burial at Memorial Park cemetery.
