Hansen, Esther (Died)

Mrs. Esther Hansen, 65, sister of a Wilmette resident, died last Thursday in Alexandria, Va. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. whe came to Evanston in the late 1930s. She retired and moved to Alexandria in December, 1965, after more than 22 as secretary of the boys athletic department of Evanston High School. Mrs. Hansen was a member of the Evanston Business and Professional Women's Club and Evanston First Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frances Nozary, Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph B. Salberg, 126 Woodbine Av., Wilmette, and Mrs. Charles Myatt, Orlando, Fla.; a step-brother, Jacque Prom, Brooklyn; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 tomorrow afternoon in Evanston First Methodist Church by the Rev. Eugene Bonham. Burial was private.
