After an illness of over two years, Mrs. Wilfred C. Shurtleff succumbed to paralysis at her home, 815 Lake avenue, early Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be held from the home Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be at Sycamore, Illinois, in the afternoon. Mrs. Shurtleff had been a resident of Wilmette for 27 years. She was a member of the Wilmette Woman's club. Besides her husband, she leaves four children, Alice, who has been teaching school in Milwaukee, Howard, who is stationed at Camp Grant, Helen and Bernice.
