Fox, Kenneth Lawrence (Died)

Kenneth Lawrence Fox, 52, who retired as Glencoe's village president in April, died Saturday at Billings Memorial hospital, Chicago. His home was at 1054 Bluff road.
Mr. Fox, a native of Chicago and a graduate of Oregon State college, had been a resident of Glencoe for 16 years.
He was a sugar broker with offices at 400 West Madison street, Chicago.
He was a member of the Glencoe board of trustees from 1942 until he resigned two years later to become village president. He was active in Community chest work for several years and at one time served as chairman for the local drive. He was a vestryman of St. Elisabeth's Episcopal church and for several years was president of the North Shore Area council of the Boy Scouts.
Mr. Fox served as an officer in the First American Tank corps in World War I.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hazel Kaiser Fox; one daughter, Marcella E.; three sons, Kenneth L. Jr., Hubert D., and Stuart D.; and his mother, Mrs. Lulu C. Fox.
Funeral services were private.
