Notes: As is generally known, it was no easy matter to get a ticket for the convention last week, but Rev. E. J. Vattermann [sic] not only got in, but, as was to be expected, when Chairman Root saw him he was asked to come on the stage, where he was heartily greeted by Gov. Deneen and Mr. Cortelyou.
