Notes: St. John's Lutheran Church celebrates 15th anniversary, history, photo Rev. J.D. Matthius who held the first Lutheran service in Wilmette in a real estate office on August 27, 1893. Rev. Victor Richter was the first pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church. Rev. F.W.G. Mueller was the second pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church 1909-1913. Rev. Herman W. Meyer will preach sermon at the anniversary service.
