Notes: John F. Packel, 43, a resident of Bishop, California, died in Sequoia National Forest, and was found July 22. He is survived by two sons, John F. Jr. and Jason of California; his mother, Jeanne Ennis Packel of Winnetka; his brother, Ned; and three sisters, Jeannine Packel of Chicago, Renee Wochner and Molly Driscoll of Northbrook; and 12 nephews and nieces.
