- Polly Susanne Nelson and Richard Dean McClellan were married July 9 at North Park Covenant Church in Chicago. Officiating were the Rev. Arthur A. R. Nelson, father of the bride and the Rev. Mark A. Nilson, brother-in-law of the bride. The bride is the daughter of Rev. Arthur and Laurel Nelson of Chicago, formerly of Wilmette. The bridegroom is the son of Bruce and Vernice McClellan of Richfield, Minn. Matron of honor was Robin Nilson, sister of the bride, South Plainfield, N.J., and Stephan McClellan, Richfield, brother of the groom, was the best man. Bridesmaids were Amy Erickson, Whitinsville, Mass.; Jennifer Norling, Boston, Mass.; Deborah McClellan, sister of the groom, Richfield; Kathi Peterson, Rockford; Valerie Hausman, Wilmette; and Elizabeth Nelson, Hinsdale. Groomsmen were Peter Nelson, brother of the bride, Winnetka; Douglas Johnson, Hinsdale; Scott Meyer, Denver, Colo.; Brian Mack, North Easton, Mass.; and Kurt Olson, Eagle River, Wis. Ringbearers were Aaron Nilson, South Plainfield, and Tyler Nelson, Winnetka, both nephews of the bride.
