- Robert W. Higgins of Sturgeon Bay, Wis. died July 28. He was 69. Mr. Higgins was born in Burlington. Iowa. He was a resident of Wilmette until he moved to Sturgeon Bay five years ago. He was a vice president at Continental Illinois Bank in Chicago when he retired. Mr. Higgins was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Evanston; a past president of the Rotary Club I of Chicago; a member of the Sturgeon Bay Rotary Club; a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and a board member of the Chicago Lung Association. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Higgins is survived by his wife, Mary Rita; three daughters, Pamela McClamroch of Kenilworth, Nancy Fowler of Ephraim, Wis. and Sallie Hogan of San Francisco; a son, Robert S. Higgins of Wilmette; six grandchildren; and a brother, Lyman Higgins of Deerfield. A memorial service was held Saturday at the First Prebsyterian Church of Evanston. Memorial gifts may be made to the Presbyterian Home in Evanston.
