- Mary A. Hoffman, a lifelong resident of Wilmette, died at her home on March 30 at the age of 84. Her husband was the late Edmund J. Hoffman, son of Hubert Hoffman. She is survived by her daughter and son, Mary Jane Martin of Wilmette and Edmund Hoffman of Lombard; five grandchildren, Lisa, Larry, Robert, Ed and Tom; and one great-grandchild, Christopher Daniel. Also surviving are her sister, Louise Kirscht of Wilmette; and brothers Joseph Bohnen of Utah and Howard Bohnen of Glenview. Burial was at St. Mary Cemetery in Techny.
