- Albert Borre, 68, died Sunday at his home, 1733 Grove Street, Glenview. Lt. Borre was a lifetime resident of Wilmette, having been born in Gross Point (later annexed to Wilmette. He formerly lived at 2121 Birchwood Avenue. Survivors include his widow, Mable M., two daughters, Mrs. Gilbert Ely and Mrs. Chester Ely and a son, Arthur P., all of Wilmette; and eight grandchildren.
He joined the Wilmette police in April, 1916, and was one of the first regular officers on the force. - Date of Publication
