- Wilmette officials and civic leaders will discuss village, school and park problems at a "town meeting" Moncay sponsored by the Wilmette Homeowners Association. Village will be represented by Mayor Kenneth Santee, Engineer John Scapin, Fire Marshall Fredrick Behrendt, and Police Chief Fred Stoecker. Also attending will be Park Board Pres. Robert Gerrie and board members Lawrence Langdon and Paul Levin; School Board Pres. M. Stanley Hughey; James Williams, president of the Wilmette Historical Commission;and Mrs. John Kennan, library board head. Others attending are Ray Sawyer of the Chamber of Commerce and William Lambrecht former chamber president and chair of recently dissolved Community Center Study Committee.
