John Paul McArdle, Construction Mechanic 3rd Class, USNRF
Killed on August 22, 1918, while attending Ensign School at the Municipal Pier in Chicago, by falling from a scaffold and fracturing his skull. Buried at Calvary Cemetery, Evanston.
Survived, at the time of this death by: Parents, Edward J. & Mary Jane O'hare McArdle, 111 Broadway Av., Wilmette
Born February 25, 1897 in Chicago. Attended St. Ignatius High School and was a student at Loyola when he enlisted in the Navy in June 1918.
