- James H. Wolter, 82, died Feb. 15 at his winter home in Jacksonville, Fla. Mr. Wolter was born Sept. 5,1924, on Chicago's North Side. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Helen (nee Carraway); a daughter, Barbara (Jim) Schroeder of Evanston; a son, J. Scott (Lisa) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, Brooke Schroeder of Evanston, and Justin and Morgan Wolter of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; a brother-in-law, Richard Outland of Racine, Wis.; and two nieces, Lauren Mendelsohn of Santa Monica, Calif, and Leslie Michelic of Appleton, Wis. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Wolter Outland of Racine, Wis.
