Notes: Volunteers for Little City Foundation are sorting books for a noted outdoor book sale, formerly known as the Brandeis Used Book Sale. After 48 years, the Brandeis University National Women's Committee turned ownership of its school's fund-raising book sale over to Little City Foundation in Palatine. The event will take place June 9 to 17 in Westfield Old Orchard Shopping Mall parking lot in Skokie.
