- Charles T. Bartlett has resigned after one week as fuel administrator for Cook County, and was replaced by his first deputy, Irving C. Brower, commissioner of public works for Evanston. Brower will be fuel administrator for Evanston and Wilmette. Extract of a letter from Raymond E. Durham received by W. L. Woolhiser, village manager of Winnetka. The letter appointed Woolhiser fuel administrator for Kenilworth and Winnetka, and Mr. Allen A. Murray administrator for Glencoe. Bartlett complained of incompetency of the Cook County fuel administration.
