- McClure is director of the Advertising Association of Chicago. Several years ago he inaugurated a movement for church advertising. He was also instrumental in establishing the Wilmette Sunday Evening Club, now in its third year. McClure has been asked to work on a national publicity campaign for the War Department's public speaking division and for the War Department's Training Camp Activities Division. He was involved in the campaign to entertain the soldiers through sale of Smileage Books.
