- Wild animals can create problems for humans; likewise humans can create problems for these animals. The key, say wildlife specialists, is to learn ocoexist with the animals and understand more about them. Lincolnshire residents Marj Lundy and Jamie Godshalk welcome wildlife planting native plants to attract them. They have had to repel racoons, however, by sheathing the trunks of trees near their home with stovepipe so the animals wouldn't climb up. Glencoe resident and fruit grower Allen Cosnow works to keep animals from interfering with his crops.
