- Loyola's athletic director, Pat Mahoney, decided to remove first-year varsity baseball coach Bob Rosinski--who has already been hired to coach next season at Glenbrook south--with two weeks left in the regular season and took over the job himself. Mahoney's decision follows his firing last August of longtime head baseball coach Ray Del Fava.
