- Saturday, September 7, the first street dance ever given in Evanston will be held at Commercial Park on Church street, between Sherman and Orrington avenues. University Court 290, Natinonal Daughters of Isabella, will donate the proceeds to the Knights of Columbus War fund. This fund will be used for the upkeep of the Knights of Columbus recreation rooms. Women in charge are Mrs. Bertha Dorre, Mrs. M. L. Sbertoli and Mrs. Fred R. Erickson, Misses Anne Smith, Margaret Eiden, Alma Kearn, Helen Barret and Miss Ethel Gertrude and Genevieve Sweeney.
