- Captain Howard was able to account for eight full squads, at our regular drill Monday night. The company was also taken for a four mile hike under leadership of Lieutenant MacFarland. Lieutenant Leach remained a the armory and worked with new recruits.
Private F. A. Bedlan will be a regular in the fourth squad now having returned from a trip to the Dells of Wisconsin with his family.
For Company "D"'s anniversary, captain Howard has asked the members to bring their sweethears and wives to witness the drill next Monday night.
A more systematic method of finding recruits should be attempted.
An examination for the office of Corporal will be held in the next two weeks.
New recruits are Benjamin T. Lewis, Jr., Charles W. Moody, Edward M. Hawes, Merle B. Snyder
