- Residents were evacuated from their homes Tuesday afternoon when an item that looked like a bomb was found at the Kenilworth home of Kurt Calabrese, son of Frank Calabrese, Sr., a defendant in the Family Secrets federal mob conspiracy trial. No clear motive has been discovered for the hoax.
In 1997 Kurt Calabrese was among four members of his family sentenced to prison for their parts in Frank Calabrese Sr's loan sharking business. The other two were Frank Calabrese's brother Nick and Frank Calabrese, Jr. Photo of police cars blocking the corner of Roger Avenue and Exmoor Road in Kenilworth near the scene of a bomb scare - Date of Publication
