Notes: Former New Trier High School track and cross country runner, John Dreher, 26, is a captain in the U.S. Army. The Glencoe native won the INstallation Management Command-Europe U.S. Forces 10-mile race recently in Grafenwohr, Germany

Dorin Candea of Skokie and Mark Norris of Wilmette earned first place finishes in their divisions last weekend at the Sperry Top-sider National Off-shore One Design (NOOD) Regatta in Chicago. Other local saiors were Jack Jennings of Niles, Christian Jensen of Wilmette and Martin Plonus of Evanston

Marshall and Morton have been added to the 16-team field for the 2007 Proviso West Holiday Basketball Tournament which will be held Dec. 26-29 at PRoviso West Sports Arena.
