Notes: Two Wilmette men will be candidates for the nomination for county commissioners in the primary Sept. 9. They are William H. MacLean, Republican state senator from this district, and Shelby M. Singleton, secretary of the Citizens' association of Chicago. Five commissioners are chosen at large from the country [sic] district which is made up of all the towns outside of the city of Chicago in Cook County.
