Notes: Mary Hoffman, a member of one of Wilmette's oldest families, has been elected to the board of directors of The Wilmette Bank. Miss Hoffman, an attorney, was born and raised in Wilmette. Miss Hoffman had worked at the Hoffman Bros. Lumber Co. in Wilmette until it was closed to make room for the new Northwestern commuter station and parking lot.
