- Theth annual "Ten Mile Gold Medal Swim," of the Shawnee Country Club will be held Oct. 1. Shawnee coach is George Eckert. Swimmers mentioned include Mrs. Joseph Nate, formerly Miss R. M. Campbell, who won her first medal in the 1929 swim.
