- The village of Wilmette has challenged State's Attorney Maclay Hoyne in defending a test case in the suit brought against Police magistrate John Ling damanding he return all money collected from automobile fines to the state's attorney.
Peter J. B [unclear] fer, Jr. was appointed motorcycle policement for the summer months.
Judgement was rendered against the village pf $1,050.74 in favor of a paving contractor for failure of the village to pay a special assessment bond.
Trustee O. W. Schmidt suggested that a police offcer be stationed at the intersection of Wilmette and Central avenues between 5 and 7 p.m. to prevent accidents. Comments by Village President Couffer.
Communication from Henry Taylor, village president of Kenilworth asked Wilmette trustees to cooperate with Kenilworth and Winnetka help pay for the improvement of Railroad Avenue.
