Notes
Two Wilmette officers have been assigned to teach a COlorado-based program that attempts to teach young drivers into better behind-the-wheel decisions. The Wilmette couse and five in the western suburbs will be the first in Illinois taught to young people just learning to drive. Next month the Safety Council will start talking to schools about another course that would teach parents of young drivers, with the intention that they transfer their new wisdom to their children. Comments by Ray Hopkins also of Wilmette.
